"I would really have liked to see a project outline..."

As usual, of any new new employee, I too was also asked to fill up more than 20 pages of forms. Then Sanya introduced me with Thomas and others.

There was an introduction session about the shipping industry... Rajeev came from SBNT and explained "how fantastic the industry is" and the industry is the 'Father of BPO' etc.
The first week went without much events...

Next week, I was 'Summoned' to SB Nair's cabin...

"Jobin, I want you to do an assignment... Prepare a 'Call to Action' note on "Trickery"...See.. for example textile shops may advertise '5 to 50% discount. But actually, these 50% is applicable only for some minor items whereas all other items would be tagged with 5%...

"One more thing... prepare a project note first"
... What a simple assignment...
Does it really require a stupid project note???

Actually.. what is it???

I have submitted a 4 page assignment within 2 days.

Within one hour, I got a mail back.

"I would really have liked to see a project outline..."

I have asked about this to the one of the world’s biggest information source, Google. I have prepared project note based on the information supplied by the google.
I submitted the project note to SBN. He 'magnanimously' rejected it...

Again I approached Google. He supplied some more information.

...Submitted...
....Rejected...

The interesting thing is that I attach the revised assignment along with project note to SBN. And I was not confident about my assignment as well because there is always information missing.
After continuous rejection of my project note, I have rejected google's information.
I went to SBN.
“Sir, What is your expectation?”

“Sit...The project note means, the outline or structure of the document. Once the project note is complete, the 30-35% of the documentation work is complete. Your Concept, Conceive, Understanding, document structure everything is defined and refined about the document, if you have complete and clear project note. And, there will not have any information missing.”

I have resubmitted the project note.

It has been accepted for the 'time being'.

I have started writing based on the project note. Then only I understand that why should I have developed a project note. I have written everything that has to be in the assignment.

No information missing in the assignment.

To be frank, I have not created a project note for writing this blog post.

So, there may be information missing in this post!!!
