That is what was I expecting to see when I opened my GMail next day. But,


There was an offer letter actually waiting for me from Sajeev Nair.

The letter says:

"Dear Mr. Jobin,

Further to your interview with us yesterday, we are pleased to offer you a position of Documentation Analyst. Please find attached the offer letter for the same. Kindly confirm acceptance.

Within no time, "I am very happy to accept the offer" letter flew from my mail box to the SBNT HR mail box.

HR wanted my photo, I sent one of my passport size photo. That was a very recent photo. Only 5 years back I took that photo for applying my passport!

I went for some shopping. Siby was accompanying me. I was very adamant then that I would not buy a shoe that price more than Rs.750. But I wondered why I paid Rs.1300 for a shoe?


Never mind!


My total budget was Rs.3000 for the entire shopping.

But the merchants were smarter than me... they billed around 7000 from me...

No issues!

I called Lipson chettan for enquiring whether I would get an accommodation some where near palarivattom or do I need to use open air...

He arranged a room (sorry a bed space for me...)

Finally, on the fine morning of 3rd March, 2009, I have stepped in SBNT BSM...

Now starts the real journey.
